We are Joshua’s Men…
We live in a world full of males who have prolonged their adolescence. They are neither boys nor men. They live, suspended as it were, between childhood and adulthood, between growing up and being grown-ups, they are a hybrid of both boy and man “BAN”. Ban is juvenile because there has been an entire niche created for him to live in the lusts of youth. The accompanying culture not only tolerates this behavior but encourages it and endorses it. This kind of male is everywhere - including the church.
Today we face a generation of males who were not raised by men and the result is prolonged male adolescence. In a culture where the influence of godly men is desperately needed, Joshua’s Men stand in the gap. We are not going to solve this problem by ignoring it and hoping that “Ban” grows up. We are not going to solve the problem by telling women that they should take up the slack. Joshua’s Men molds biblical manhood by calling adult boys to forsake their youthful lusts and become the man that God has called them to be.
We encourage men to be men, to follow in the foot steps of the great men of the Bible and Christian history, and to fulfill our Biblical roles as husbands, fathers, and leaders in our church and community. It is by looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and by helping and encouraging each other. It is through prayer and practice that we can achieve our call to Christ like masculinity.
Weekly Men’s LIFE Group
LIFE Groups are the life blood of East Hills - and we know that. Each week we get together to learn and discuss God's Word. It is a time of fellowship and growth. We meet at the home of Steve Manchester at 7:00pm on Tuesdays nights.

Monthly Breakfast
The Joshua’s Men get together the fourth Saturday of every month to eat some great food and connect with other guys in community. We set apart a time to worship and hear a message from God’s Word that is encouraging and challenging. Each year one of our breakfasts are set aside each for a special father-daughter breakfast and father-son breakfast.
Annual Christmas Lunch
Every year in December, we host a Christmas lunch for men, after our church services, to get out, fellowship, worship, sing Christmas songs, and participate in our annual Christmas raffle.
Men’s Retreat
Another annual event, this time away is meant to relax, laugh, and strengthen our walk with God. Utilizing speakers, worship, small groups, and free time this weekend is an opportunity for men to connect with one another, pray, encourage, and grow.
POWER Ministry
The Joshua’s Men are deeply committed to the POWER (Purposeful Outreach With Eternal Results) Ministry which is a non-denominational Christian organization based in Riverside.
