What is this life really all about?  Is this all that there is? This generation is asking questions like these and the Student Ministries of East Hills Community Church is the place to discover the answers. 

As we grow in our faith and serve our Lord we, only then, begin to truly experience the marvelous life that Christ has for each of us.  Let our Student Ministries propel you into that rich, full life that is waiting for you.

Weekly Programs

Col·lide  (kə-līd') 

Collide is our midweek program for jr. high and high school students to come together and experience the direct impact Christ can have on their lives. 

Impacted by Christ to impact the world. 

We seek to accomplish this with 

  • True Community: We are a gathering of youth growing together in our relationship with Christ and each other.
  • Authentic Worship: We are a people that live to worship our great God.
  • Relevant Teaching: We are those that recognize the life changing power of God’s Word. 

Every Tuesday from 6:30-8:45pm we start with a time of games, prayer and worship.  Then we separate into our jr. high and high school groups to see what God’s word has for us.

 

Sunday Mornings

Building on the foundation of faith that will carry us through our lives

After a time of worship with the congregation we come together as students to continue to lay the foundation of faith based in the Word of God. The Word of God applied in the context of our friends will have a powerful impact on us and our world.  

 

The Gathering

The Gathering is a time for East Hills students to gather and serve in the name of Christ every Wednesday night (starting at 6:30pm on the 1st,  2nd, and 5th Wed. and 5:00pm on the 3rd and 4th Wed.).

1 John 3:18 says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.”

A place to serve through: 

  • ministering to the elderly
  • feeding the homeless
  • community outreach
  • student planned ministry 

This is not open to everyone; but only those who have fulfilled obligations elsewhere.  If you are interested, please talk to Pastor Brian. 


Summer / Winter Camps

Picking up the tradition that Jesus started 2000 years ago with his disciples, each year we get away from the everyday distractions of life to focus on growing close to God.

Each summer we go to Thousand Pines for an incredible week of teaching worship, and fun.  In the winter we join with a handful of churches for an amazing weekend in Wrightwood.

 

Discipleship / Mentoring

These groups are characterized by small groups and intensive times with committed adult mentors.

 

Warriors of the King

This is an annual 10 week course focused on laying a foundation of faith for young men to realize their destiny in God’s kingdom and stand tall to receive their rewards when the battle is over.

 

Daughters of the King

An annual program aimed at young women intended to help them pass from the spiritual innocence of a young girl to the spiritual maturity of a young woman.
