We believe in...

1. The Trinity

One eternal and sovereign God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  (Genesis 1:1-2, 26, Mark 1:10-11, Matthew 28:19)

2. Inspiration

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The sixty-six books of the Bible are the final authority for Christian faith and living.  (2 Timothy 3:16)

3. The Incarnation of God

Jesus Christ is God who took the form of a human. He willingly died on a cross and paid the penalty of death for all who would trust or put their faith in Him.  Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World.  (John 1:1-5)

4. The Exclusivity of Jesus

Salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Mankind is inherently sinful. Because of our sin we deserve to be eternally separated from God in hell. But, because God loves us He sent His Son Jesus to die in our place. Christ’s death on our behalf becomes effective to us the moment we put our faith in Him as our Savior.  He is the only way.  (John 3:16, 1 John 5:11-12, John 14:6)

5. The Church

The church as the living body of Christ on earth. Christ is the head and the source of its life. The body is composed of those who have put their faith in Him as Lord and Savior.  (Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13)

6. Two Sacraments

We believe that Christ instituted two sacraments:  Water Baptism of the believer, symbolizing the washing away of our sins through the blood of Christ, and the Lord’s Supper, which is to be observed by believers until he returns.  The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is the memorial of Christ’s death, the elements being symbols of his broken body and shed blood.  (Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
